Childrens museum continued - Superheroes

Alec and friends,

As I said the museum is huge and has so much to do and it's a busy place too.  One of the new exhibits is the superhero exhibit where you can see various items from a collection of superhero memorabilia.

The outfit on the right is the "Riddler" costume worn by Jim Carrey in the 1995 movie Batman Forever.

On the left is the Batman cape worn by Adam West from the TV series Batman (1967).

Here is Spider-man on the wall of the museum

Above is a little closer view of Spider-man

Here is a cool statue of Batman from the Batman Begins movie (2005)

Below is the costume worn by Batman in the 2012 Dark Knight Rises movie, I think this was your aunt's favorite

And of course there is Superman, this is the original costume worn by Christopher Reeves in the 1978 Superman movie.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle (part 2) costume 1991

From the GI Joe movie the character Duke costumer worn by actor Channing Tatum

I think that is my favorite!!

The Children's Museum is interactive and they had costumes that you could try, here are some kids that had capes on enjoying the exhibit

very fun, the line was too long for me to try this out.... but it was fun watching others put on hats and capes.

There were some toys (you couldn't play with them) and comic books too for you to see.  Here is a Wonder Woman doll.

the Bionic Woman

and a collection of comic books (you couldn't read them)

We had our pictures taken in front of the comic books!

It was fun going through the exhibits......

Stay tuned on Wednesday for more of my adventure at the Children's Museum.

Your friend,

Flat
